Job Overview
Windowmaker is looking for a skilled and creative Senior Web Developer to lead the development, management, and continuous optimization of our digital web presence. Beyond core website development responsibilities, this role will serve as a key enabler to our Marketing team, supporting campaigns, enhancing lead generation, and optimizing performance across digital channels using SEO and web analytics. You will play a strategic role in ensuring our web infrastructure is agile, scalable, and aligned with our brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Optimization
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Windowmaker’s website using WordPress and modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Ensure responsive design, fast performance, and consistent functionality across browsers and devices (e.g. Mobile, tablet, web etc).
- Manage web hosting infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and uptime.
Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Partner with the Marketing team to ideate, build, and deploy web assets for digital campaigns and promotions.
- Build campaign landing pages, banners, and HTML email templates that convert traffic into leads.
- Support marketing automation workflows and ensure seamless CRM form integration.
SEO & Lead Generation
- Lead on-page SEO strategy, including metadata, page speed, keyword usage, and accessibility improvements.
- Monitor and optimize Google Search Console, keyword rankings, and performance analytics.
- Suggest and implement innovative web techniques (e.g., interactive forms, chat tools, A/B testing) to increase user engagement and generate leads.
- Scrape and analyse external sites for leads relevant to exhibitions and campaigns.
CMS & CRM Management
- Administer content updates, user access, and plugin integrations in WordPress CMS.
- Manage lead capture forms, submission flows, and synchronization with CRM.
- Support internal teams in managing portal content and customer-facing information.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in Web Development, with expertise in WordPress and front-end frameworks.
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap, or modern equivalents.
- Experience with PHP, Laravel, and web architecture fundamentals.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and strategies, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and performance optimization tools.
- Strong creative mindset and an ability to think like a digital marketer.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in web development, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with AngularJS, React, or other front-end frameworks.
- Understanding with CMS and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and conversion rate optimization.
