Position Details

• Location: India (Permanent Remote)
• Experience required: 5-7 years relevant work experience developing consumer facing (B2B/B2C) websites, demonstrated competence in web development and experience working with agencies and/or cross-functional teams.
• Assessment Test: (based on role requirement) will be required to take a skill assessment test prior interview.
• Shift: 4.5 hours overlap PST shift (4pm-1am IST)
• Work hours- 9 hrs (Including 30 minutes breaktime)
• CTC: As per market standards
• Notice period: Immediate joiner preferred, candidate serving notice period left with last 30 days.
• Must have Broadband availability: Min 30 MBPS (national service provider JIO/TATA/Airtel Hathway etc)
• Important: Access to a quiet home office environment with above mentioned broadband availability and working space to accommodate two monitors +1 Laptop. (based on role requirement)
  
  

Job Summary:

This position reports to: Sr. Manager, Web & UX Experience

The Sr. Web Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining website features and functionalities to meet current and future needs, which perform well and are easy to maintain. Responsibilities include coordinating technical projects from inception to completion with responsibilities for day-to-day execution and workflow to deliver at the highest quality, on time and on budget. This role will be actively partnering and working closely with internal and external (agencies) teams, both domestic and international.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage, enhance, and develop high-quality websites and applications which are cross-device and cross-browser compatible; oversee site architecture, features, functionality, and strategies to support desired end-user experience which directly impacts business goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Manage core site infrastructure system and taxonomies
• Collaborate with team members, marketing management and agency team partners to scope the planning and execution of web development projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand, product, and digital marketing strategies, as well as quality, consistency, and timeliness.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and team members on requirements, website features, technical design, and strategy effectiveness.
• Ensure quality assurance and control on all technical deliverables. Vocalize and develop standards and guidelines for best practices and compliance such as ADA, WCAG and other state / federal privacy laws under the direction of Masco Legal i.e., CCPA, GDRP etc.
• Pursue and improve process gaps by developing workflows that contribute to high-level end-user experience and execute with urgency.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating with internal team members and agency partners to manage web information architecture, semantic markup, data structures, algorithm design, code standards and reviews, source control and processes.
• Develop and execute successful user experiences working with UX and Creative teams from wireframes, designs, and prototype concepts.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance the user experience through presentations, guidelines, best practices, and case studies.
• Oversee hosting platform, domain management and overall site security to ensure high-uptime and secure user-experiences.

• The individual must be able to interface with co-workers, internal departments, service providers, and customers in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, owner’s operating manual, and service procedure manuals. Strong verbal and written communications skills
  
  

Essential Skills:

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and computer skills
• Comfortable working independently and flexibly across time zones
• Ability to use a computer for 8.5 hours per day
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility. Ability to prioritize and multi-task independently.
  
  

Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years relevant work experience developing consumer facing (B2B/B2C) websites, demonstrated competence in web development and experience working with agencies and/or cross-functional teams.
• Expert skill and experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS required.
• Solid understanding of digital mediums from a sociological, technological, and tactical perspective.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Experience working in WordPress CMS: Including custom theme development, plugin management, and backend PHP development
• Strong understanding in best practices for web information architecture, semantic markup, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, website product lifecycle management, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing required.
• Basic skill or knowledge in one or more of the following: Adobe Creative Suite, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on agile development projects strongly preferred
• Direct experience working with website and form integrations/APIs for Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice, CRM/Marketing Automation tools, Salesforce, Facebook, AdWords and related marketing and e-commerce platforms strongly preferred.
  
  

Education:

• Must have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science.
• PHP Certification is strongly preferred.
