Staff Software Engineer - Lead Salesforce Developer

Skills & Competencies

• Must have 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Salesforce technologies.
• Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development including Lightning Components, Apex, Visual Force, API, and SFDX.
• Must have strong understanding of Salesforce platform best practices including data modeling, security, and Apex coding standards.
• Must have experience with AppExchange products such as Apttus CPQ, CLM, OM and integration tools like MuleSoft.
• Good to have Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect).
• Good to have experience in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps automation on Salesforce.
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Salesforce Architecture Certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and customize Salesforce components using Lightning, Apex, Visual Force, and API integrations.
• Build and maintain configurations on Apttus CPQ, CLM, and OM modules, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct technical fit/gap analysis and develop proof of concepts for new initiatives and AppExchange integrations.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, solution architects, testers, and DevOps engineers.
• Manage release deployment activities and ensure compliance with SDLC, SOX controls, and company standards.
• Troubleshoot system issues and drive resolution through effective risk mitigation and dependency management.
