Overview
Netradyne is the world’s best Fleet Safety Solution processing billions of edge data points every day. The charter for the Platform engineering team is to build a scalable, extensible, secure and highly performant layer which can be the chassis on which multiple products get built, offering coherent and mutually consistent user experience across product lines and delivery modes (Web, Mobile, APIs), allowing effective reuse of components for cost and developer efficiency, maintainability, and extensibility, providing a plug-and-play model for various components and features, both in the backend and frontend.
What You’ll Do:
● Own architecture and implementation of critical cloud platform components: multi-region infrastructure, app platform, CI/CD, observability, and deployment systems.
● Lead initiatives around modular codebases, internal SDKs, and shared deployment templates to drive consistency and developer velocity.
● Design and implement high-throughput streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink) to support real-time analytics and alerting at scale.
● Drive cost optimization, scaling policies, and capacity planning across compute, GPU, and storage tiers.
● Influence long-term platform strategy while contributing hands-on to high-impact projects.
Nice to Have
● Experience working with GenAI tools or LLM-based developer workflows (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)
● Exposure to edge-cloud integrations, OTA updates, or telemetry pipelines
● Experience in designing systems to support transitioning from single product architecture to a multi-product ecosystem will be a big plus.
● Critical thinking, ability to navigate large, distributed codebases, understand architectural trade-off and system design thinking are important.
