Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a multiplex organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

In this role, you will focus on Gemini for Storage and related services which are critical for the GCS Storage Management charter. Your aim should be to leverage AI and an understanding of GCS to efficiently manage billions of objects in an entire organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive GenAI Accuracy, Security improvement initiatives (Prompt Engineering, Intent Classification, Fine tuning, RAG, etc.).
• Scale, support and automate service deployment.Participate in on-call responsibilities in the team, to ensure that existing production systems meet SLOs.
• Ensure existing and new infrastructure complies with the latest Google principles for security, performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively effectively with other service teams in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) to solve problems and drive cross-functional execution.
• Establish software development best practices and help build a robust engineering culture.
