Your Role And Responsibilities

Software developer position for IBM's enterprise data protection product, IBM Storage Protect. Storage Protect provides enterprise data protection at a massive scale, often in hybrid cloud environments. We're looking for engineers who can be part of this team and bring in good value from the software development experience.

This Role Focuses On

• Quickly learn product features and functionality of Storage Protect in order to effecitvely develop and provide fix for the product
• Work closely with support team for customer issues that needs attention
• Understanding the customer issues, debugging, finding root cause and providing fixes.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA teams as required for understanding the new features, verification of the fixes etc...
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

1 to 5 years of software Development experience.

• Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Java, Python, Perl
• Experience in any one of the applications like MongoDB, DB2, VMWare, Exchange , SAP ERP / HANA
• Experience using, managing, and troubleshooting Operating Systems (Windows, AIX, Linux).
• Experience / knowledge on Backup, Archive , Storage
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Experience using on AngularJS, NodeJS and BIRT report will be added advanage.
• Experience / knowledge working in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good with attitude and apptitude
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
