Job Description
Join Infrastructure / Compute Cloud Operations as a System Administrator. You’ll manage, maintain, and optimize Linux server fleets, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources, and VMware ESXi/vSphere platforms supporting business-critical applications. The role focuses on reliability, performance, and security, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving complex issues, and advancing automation and process improvements.
Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Oracle Linux, RHEL, etc.).
Manage VMware ESXi/vSphere: provision, monitor, and troubleshoot VMs.
Operate and support OCI (compute, storage, networking).
Perform OS upgrades, patching, and kernel updates across Linux fleets.
Monitor performance, capacity, and availability; resolve issues proactively.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot incidents across server, virtualization, and cloud stacks.
Collaborate with application, database, and network teams for end-to-end delivery.
Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
Drive automation (scripts, Shell/Python, Ansible) to streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
