System Administrator

Overview

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Certified Cloud System Administrator to manage and support our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and SQL Server database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide range of Azure services, including virtual machines, security, monitoring, and database administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines and related services
• Configure and monitor Azure security features (NSGs, firewalls, identity access)
• Implement server monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Administer and optimize SQL Server databases (Azure SQL & IaaS-based)
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues across the Azure environment
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams for deployments and infrastructure changes

Requirements:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104)
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure cloud administration experience
• Proficient in Azure services: VMs, networking, identity management, security, and storage
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server installation, backup, tuning, and security
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools in Azure
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Azure CLI for scripting and automation
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Security Engineer or Solutions Architect certifications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform)
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud setups and on-premise integration
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
