Overview
As a System Admin you will:
- Respond to user support tickets and infrastructure issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform root cause analysis and apply permanent fixes when possible.
- Use event logs and monitoring tools to check the health of servers and network devices.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential downtime risks.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install and configure operating systems, software, and updates.
- Administer Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services including user provisioning, license management, and security controls.
- Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams configurations.
- Liaise with hardware and software vendors to escalate and resolve issues.
- Manage warranties, support contracts, and hardware replacements.
Skills Required:
- 1+ years of prior experience in system monitoring, endpoint support, and vendor coordination is essential.
- Solid understanding of domain structures, GPOs, and user/group management.
- Experience with DHCP, DNS, File Server Management, and endpoint security tools.
- Hands-on experience with laptop/desktop support, OS installation, and software setup.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms including user roles and security.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, and DNS fundamentals.
- Exposure to firewall management (e.g., SonicWall NSA 4600 preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams and with non-technical users.
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)/MCSA or similar Microsoft certifications preferred
