System Architect – Cloud Platforms & Enterprise Integrations

About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and own end-to-end system architecture for enterprise platforms
2. Define cloud architecture, system components, and integration patterns
3. Build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems
4. Lead architectural decisions for performance, reliability, and cost optimization
5. Design API-first and event-driven architectures
6. Integrate internal and external systems using REST APIs, messaging, and queues
7. Define security standards, IAM policies, and access controls
8. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies
9. Drive architecture governance, reviews, and best practices
10. Mentor engineers and review system designs & code quality
11. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams

Other Requirements:

1. Deep hands-on architecture experience in one major cloud (Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud Platform/Microsoft Azure) with scalable, high-availability systems.

2. Strong system design skills: microservices, API-first, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems at scale.

3. Solid security & DevOps expertise: IAM, secure integrations (OAuth/JWT), CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, monitoring.

4. Proven ownership & leadership: drives architectural decisions, mentors engineers, and bridges business and technical teams.
