System & Network Administrator

Overview

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System & Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our school’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of computer systems, network connectivity, hardware, and software to support the school’s academic and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain school computer systems, servers, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor and ensure network performance, availability, and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain school security protocols (firewalls, antivirus, updates).
• Support staff and teachers in IT-related issues (software installation, connectivity, printer support, etc.).
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and guidelines.
• Assist in upgrading and scaling IT infrastructure as per school growth.
• Provide basic training and technical support to staff when needed.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role (Minimum [X] years).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, Active Directory, Office 365.
• Hands-on experience with network devices .
• Knowledge of cloud services and virtualization (VMware, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.

Pay: ₹16,918.82 - ₹25,000.00 per month

• Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
