Overview
Role Overview We are looking for a TCMS Lead to join our team and spearhead the architecture, development, integration, and validation of Train Control and Monitoring Systems for next-gen rail vehicles. You will play a key leadership role in both design execution and client-facing program delivery, contributing directly to the development of cutting-edge, safety-critical railway technologies. Key Responsibilities • Lead system-level design and development of TCMS solutions including hardware architecture, software architecture, and network configuration. • Oversee end-to-end integration of subsystems (braking, propulsion, doors, HVAC, CCTV, fire safety, etc.) into the TCMS. • Interface with rail OEMs, rolling stock manufacturers, and standards bodies to ensure regulatory and functional compliance. • Prepare and manage technical documentation including FRS, SRS, ICDs, validation protocols, and safety cases. • Guide and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams—software, embedded systems, testing, and field support. • Conduct field trials, troubleshooting, and system commissioning support as needed. • Stay current with global TCMS trends and standards (IEC 61375, EN 50128, EN 50155, etc.). Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline. • Minimum 7 years of experience in TCMS development and integration, preferably with rolling stock OEMs or rail tech companies. • Solid understanding of embedded systems, CAN bus, MVB, Ethernet Train Backbone (ETB), and train communication protocols. • Hands-on experience with IEC 61375, EN 50155, and EN 50128.
