Technical Fullstack Architect

Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking a Fullstack Technical Architect with deep expertise in backend development using Node.js and proficiency in frontend technologies like React or any modern JavaScript framework. You will play a key role in building and evolving the company’s next-generation, cloud-based computing platform for digitally delivered life insurance products.

You’ll be working hands-on with code, collaborating with developers and product managers, and leading architecture and design discussions. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems while also guiding the implementation of modern, component-based frontend architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and build scalable backend systems using Node.js and modern frameworks.
• Contribute to frontend development using React, TypeScript, or any major JS framework.
• Design database schemas and manage backend infrastructure for performance and security.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead the creation of technical design documents (HLDs, LLDs) and perform code reviews.
• Guide the engineering team with technical mentoring and architectural best practices.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, secure development practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Handle third-party integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, etc.) seamlessly.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and backend application architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and system design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
