Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Fullstack Technical Lead (AngularJS) to lead the development of scalable SaaS products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, especially in AngularJS, and must have led development teams for at least 3 years. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for system design, architecture, code quality, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality solutions within agile timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of full stack SaaS applications
- Ensure on-time delivery of assigned modules and product releases by managing scope, timelines, and dependencies effectively.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering technical excellence and accountability
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-impact features
- Conduct warm-up sessions and stand-ups to align teams on sprint goals and technical focus areas.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Drive best practices in coding, architecture, version control, and DevOps; ensure consistent implementation across the team
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the development team. Review and approve code changes through rigorous code reviews, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Break down complex problems into actionable technical tasks and delegate effectively
- Identify skill gaps within the team and organize technical trainings and mentoring programs as needed
- Monitor and help achieve individual and team productivity targets
- Conduct periodic performance reviews, provide feedback, and support team growth
- Proactively address risks and blockers, and provide timely technical guidance to the team
- Own technical decision-making and guide the team through technical challenges
- Maintain and enhance existing codebase, with a focus on scalability and performance
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adoption where applicable.
Key Skills
- Frontend: Strong expertise in AngularJS (1.x), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Backend: Proficient in Node.js, Express.js or any backend technology (Java/.NET/Python acceptable if adaptable)
- Database: Experience with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
- Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
- CI/CD: Hands-on with automated pipelines, build tools, and release processes
- Architecture: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and MVC patterns
- Testing: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest)
- Cloud: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, time management and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on software development experience
- At least 3 years of experience in leading development teams
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and sprint-based delivery
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to career development
