Technical Lead - IT Infrastructure

Job Summary

ATS Corporate IT is responsible for the delivery and operations of enterprise-wide systems and services across global offices. We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong Infrastructure Technical Lead based in Bangalore to support our global operations and mentor a team of engineers. This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys building scalable solutions and leading by example.

You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and lead technical execution in a hybrid infrastructure environment (on-prem + cloud). The ideal candidate is someone with deep technical skills in Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, security, and automation — and has a strong ability to guide and elevate the performance of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects, including Exchange hybrid setups, mailbox migrations, and Active Directory consolidation.
• Design and implement hybrid Entra ID configurations, identity synchronization, and conditional access policies.
• Oversee cloud and on-prem migrations (Exchange, AD, file servers, applications).
• Administer VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Architect and deploy Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, monitoring).
• Manage hybrid connectivity using Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, and VPNs.
• Automate provisioning, licensing, and migrations via PowerShell.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation: SOPs, baselines, migration plans, and diagrams.
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Administer and respond to incidents using CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and lead remediation.
• Manage patching and compliance using Azure Update Manager.
• Monitor infrastructure health via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Implement data governance with Microsoft Purview (classification, labeling, insider risk).
• Align infrastructure with security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit policies.
  
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide a Bangalore-based team of 3–6 infrastructure engineers.
• Set technical standards, perform code reviews, and coach on best practices.
• Act as senior escalation point for critical incidents and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with global teams in security, networking, and applications.
• Promote knowledge sharing, automation, and a culture of operational excellence.
  
  

Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Mware Certified Professional ,CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator
  
  

Experience

• 12+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 3+ years in a team leadership or senior technical role
• Proven success in Microsoft infrastructure (Exchange, M365, AD, Entra ID)
• Experience leading or participating in M&A infrastructure integration projects
• Deep knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation techniques
• Expertise in Azure-based infrastructure and hybrid cloud operations
• Strong experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and patch management
• Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments
