Technical Lead - wiring harness

·       Responsible for Design and development of electrical wiring harness and electronics components

·       Vehicle electrical integration for Electrical and electronic systems

·       Responsible for the supervision of the successful CAD releases and integration in the Virtual Car

·       Responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of the delivery of WH 3D CAD, Logical Circuits and Drawings

·       Participation in prototype and vehicle builds phases and issue management

·       Co-ordination with project CFT for gateways wise deliverables

·       Knowledge of vehicle DMU and wiring harness routing

·       Gather, interpret, and upload relative Technical Customer Documentation (TCD's) into Electrical Database.

·       Responsible for all schematic related activities

·       Responsible for WH Complexity matrix and configuration development

·       Extensive design experience of designing circuit schematics and Engineering change management projects for Automotive.

·       Good knowledge of connector inline topology and ground topology.

·       Layout and packaging of WH and its selections of fuse, relays

·       “Built-To-Print” Wiring Harness Drawings in Capital Harness XC which is Integrated (In Sync) with Physical Circuit Schematics as well as the Harness 3D routing data, Wiring harness 3D CAD routing and packaging in Catia V5

·       Expertise in circuit simulation, load calculations, Voltage drop calculations, fault findings & design solutions for failures. Experience of various change management processes like Engineering Change Requests etc.

·       Physical Circuit Schematics and Simulation in Capital Logic, Service Schematics through Capital Publisher and Info-Fitment drawings in Catia V5

·       Variant wise Bill of Material and Add-Del Bill of Materials for every Engineering change through-out the project

·       Cable definition - assign circuits, define cable gauge, stranding, insulation type, cable colour.

·       2D/3D MACD bridge synchronization.

·       Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, DFM, DFA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc

·       VAVE for Wiring Harness components & optimization of Power distribution & grounding

·       Should be able to evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical recommendation.

·       Wiring harness manufacturing support as application Engineer

·       Support for Proto vehicle development and testing

·       Working knowledge of MINT3, RMDVV and other internal systems
