Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically strong leader with hands-on coding expertise and project leadership skills to drive cloud-native and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on development with technologies such as Node.js, AngularJS, and AWS, along with experience leading teams of 5-10 members. This role focuses on technical solutioning, architecture, and Agile delivery rather than traditional project management, making it suitable for candidates who have led tech teams but may not be seasoned project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle technical delivery of cloud-native and microservices-based web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Hands-on coding and architecture design with technologies such as Node.js, AngularJS, Java, AWS services, and microservices.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product owners, architects, DevOps, QA, and client stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical plans, epics, and tasks.
- Manage product backlog, story grooming, release management, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Ensure solutions meet architecture standards for security, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor and guide teams in Agile practices, ensuring process compliance and continuous improvement.
- Manage scope, schedule, risks, quality metrics, and effective communication across projects.
- Support DevOps practices and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in hands-on coding.
- Experience leading technical teams of 5-10 members.
- Strong skills in Node.js, AngularJS, Java, AWS services, NoSQL/SQL databases, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud-native application development.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical designs and code.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with iOS and Android application development.
- Prior experience with release management and product backlog grooming.
- Proven ability to lead tech teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Work Model
- Hybrid – 3 days’ work from office – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
