Technical Lead- QA

Overview

GrowExx is seeking a highly analytical Technical Lead– QA who has previously executed automated testing on large enterprise projects with comprehensive understanding of all aspects of SDLC in the Agile framework

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to Analyse System Requirements end to end to develop Test Automation Strategies for the application
• Analyse User Journeys, Mind maps & Process Flows and create Test automation and manual Framework using Protractor/Katalon/Cucumber/Selenium to meet the required Quality and NFR for a given system.
• Plan and specify the behaviour driven testing required for new and updated features (stories) to the satisfaction of the team’s product owner
• Hands on with Automation Scripts based on the defined Quality requirements and Testing Parameters for a given System
• Review Test cases / Test scripts written by peers/team members.
• Guide team members in maintaining standards of Test Scripts
• Estimate all QA related tasks and keep track of estimated vs actual.
• Produce automated Quality Reports demonstrating all the required Quality Metrics for a given system
• Perform exploratory testing – asking the “what if” questions and applying this to explore requirements, software, architecture etc.
• Define DEBUG structure to identify causes for any issues and develop speedier resolution
• Define User Acceptance Criteria, ideally using Gherkin scripts
• Become Quality Evangelist in the organization and advocate best practices to develop high quality software.
• Provide HR and Management with any relevant information to help improve organization culture & performance
• Should have hands-on experience or familiarity with using AI-based tools and techniques for software testing.
  
  

Key Skills

• Hands on experience with LLM models and basic knowledge of evaluation metrics for LLMs.
• Strong knowledge of testing RESTful API-based microservices systems.
• Strong in testing RESTful API-based microservices
• Skilled in load/performance testing using Locust, JMeter
• Expertise in test suite design and full coverage validation
• Proven automation experience with Java, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Gherkin, Cypress
• Familiar with Protractor, Katalon, and CI/CD frameworks
• Hands-on with Blackbox, Integration, Security, and Performance testing
• Practical experience with TDD and Agile testing practices
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards
• Experienced in Zephyr, JIRA, Git, Bitbucket
• Strong in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Skilled in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall with estimation & planning
• Aware of secure coding and performance optimization
• Team mentoring and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Exposure to using AI-based tools and techniques for software testing to enhance efficiency and test coverage
  
  

Education and Experience

• B.Tech or B. E. 1st Class from top 100 institutes in India
• 10+ Years of total experience in Automation and manual testing and exposure on technical leadership or similar role.
