*Role Description *
As a Technical Lead - Full Stack Engineering, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable software products. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong technical depth with execution excellence. You will be responsible for leading engineering initiatives, making key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to build high-quality software at scale.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building products, solving complex engineering challenges, and fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
*Key Responsibilities *
*Technical Leadership *
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
Define coding standards, engineering practices, and technical roadmaps. Review and approve technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches.
Drive modernization initiatives and continuously improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks where appropriate.
Full Stack Development Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
Design and develop high-performance web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
Develop scalable backend services, business logic, integrations, and microservices. Ensure application security, performance, observability, and maintainability.
Participate actively in coding, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
*Product Delivery & Execution *
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define implementation strategies. Drive sprint planning, technical estimation, and execution.
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining engineering quality standards. Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation plans.
Engineering Excellence Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices. Improve test automation, code quality, security, and development workflows.
Promote clean architecture, reusable components, and maintainable codebases.
Establish documentation standards and technical knowledge-sharing practices.
Champion a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and guide software engineers across experience levels. Support hiring, onboarding, and technical assessment processes.
Help engineers grow through coaching, feedback, and career development. Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
Act as a technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
*What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications *
8+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or major technical initiatives.
Proven experience building and scaling production-grade software products within productfocused or high-growth technology organizations.
Backend Skills:
Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, and API Design & Integration. Experience with Express.js / NestJS, Authentication & Authorization, Messaging Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), Caching (Redis), and Distributed Systems Concepts.
Frontend Skills:
Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5/CSS3. Experience with State Management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), Responsive Design, Frontend Performance Optimization, Design Systems, and Component Libraries. Database Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB / DynamoDB, Database Design & Optimization, Query Performance Tuning, and Data Modeling.
Cloud & DevOps:
Experience with AWS Cloud Services, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure & Deployment Fundamentals, and Monitoring & Observability. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI-enabled products or GenAI integrations. Experience building multi-tenant SaaS products. Knowledge of platform engineering, cloud-native architectures, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks. Contributions to open-source projects.
