We are looking for a Technical Lead to bridge the gap between our CTO's visionary roadmap and the engineers, designers, and developers who are bringing it to life. If you’re passionate about AI, product development, and leading dynamic teams to solve complex problems, we want to hear from you!

The role will be based in India.

The Role

As the Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the CTO’s vision and the development teams, steering the technical execution of Pythia. You will be responsible for translating high-level platform concepts into actionable engineering roadmaps, ensuring alignment across AI, front-end, and back-end teams.

You will lead by example, providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and upholding a high standard of technical excellence across the platform

Responsibilities

Leadership & Planning

• Act as the technical conduit between the CTO’s vision and the development teams, translating product goals into clear technical requirements and deliverables
• Define the technical architecture, aligning it with the platform’s vision and scalability objectives
• Collaborate with AI engineers, back-end developers, and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of all platform components
• Lead sprint planning, task prioritisation, and the creation of technical roadmaps in collaboration with product managers
• Own the platform’s technical strategy, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and future-proof

Development & Execution

• Provide hands-on support to teams, including code reviews, debugging, and architectural decisions
• Ensure the seamless integration of AI models into the platform, collaborating closely with AI engineers to optimise performance
• Oversee front-end and back-end implementations, ensuring responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces backed by robust and scalable infrastructure
• Drive best practices in CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment to accelerate development cycles

Team Collaboration

• Mentor and coach engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation
• Promote cross-functional collaboration between AI, design, and engineering teams
• Facilitate regular communication between teams to ensure alignment and transparency

Technical Oversight

• Monitor and address technical challenges, bottlenecks, and risks proactively
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data engineering, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the platform
• Ensure adherence to high technical standards, including security, performance, and scalability

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a technical lead, software architect, or similar role in developing AI-driven platforms or SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in full-stack development, including:
• o Back-End: Python, Node.js, or similar languages; experience with microservices architecture.
• o Front-End: React, Angular, or Vue.js; experience in creating intuitive user interfaces.
• o AI/ML: Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deploying AI models in production environments.
• o Data Engineering: Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and large-scale data processing.
• o Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP; experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• o DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and observability frameworks

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering positive team dynamics
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under uncertainty
• A product-first mindset, with a passion for creating user-centric tools and experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on marketing platforms, analytics tools, or data-focused SaaS products
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI technologies
• Background in data visualisation frameworks and libraries
