Overview
About Mandelbulb Technologies
Mandelbulb Technologies delivers innovative digital solutions built on the Microsoft ecosystem, specializing in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Services, Azure AI, Power Platform, data engineering, and full-stack application development. We partner with private and public sector clients to drive meaningful, scalable digital transformation.
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who not only understands project delivery but also has the technical depth to lead engineering teams, evaluate architecture, and deliver AI-driven, data-centric, and enterprise-grade solutions.
Role Overview
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee complex, multi-layered projects involving backend development, frontend systems, databases, and Microsoft-based applications and services. This is not a purely managerial role — you will need technical depth to guide teams, evaluate project requirements, understand architecture, remove blockers, and ensure seamless delivery.
You will work across multiple teams, manage parallel projects, and collaborate closely with clients — including government and public sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Review technical requirements, solution designs, architecture diagrams, and data workflows — with specific focus on Microsoft Fabric–based data engineering, data pipelines, and analytics components.
• Understand end-to-end system architecture across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, cloud services, and AI components.
• Oversee workstreams involving Azure AI Services, Azure Cloud Applications, Power Platform, and Fabric Data workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to validate technical feasibility and identify risks early.
• Ensure technical alignment between business needs, solution design, and engineering execution.
Project & Delivery Management
• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
• Use industry-standard project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, and MS Planner for sprint planning, backlog management, documentation, and tracking.
• Prepare and maintain project artifacts including project plans, sprint boards, Gantt charts, RAID logs, requirement documents, and risk matrices.
• Conduct standups, sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and milestone evaluations.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and areas of improvement before issues arise (proactiveness is key).
Stakeholder & Client Management
• Communicate clearly with clients, explaining technical progress in a business-friendly manner.
• Manage public sector project expectations, compliance needs, and reporting standards.
• Travel as needed to client sites for workshops, reviews, and project deployments.
Team Collaboration
• Work seamlessly with development, data, analytics, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure cross-team alignment and timely delivery of project components.
• Promote a structured and disciplined delivery culture.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of backend technologies (e.g., .NET, Node.js, APIs, microservices).
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, TypeScript).
• Hands-on understanding of databases (SQL, Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric Data Lake).
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including:
o Microsoft Fabric
o Azure Services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, DevOps, Storage)
o Power Apps & Power Automate
o Microsoft 365 integration capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret architecture diagrams, API documentation, and system workflows.
Professional Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects end-to-end.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple teams and concurrent workstreams.
• Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative before issues escalate.
• Experience with public sector projects is a strong advantage.
• Open to travel based on project and client needs.
Why Join Mandelbulb Technologies?
• Work with modern Microsoft technologies and innovative digital solutions.
• Collaborate with a passionate and skilled technical team.
• Exposure to enterprise and public-sector digital transformation.
• Opportunity to grow into senior technical leadership roles.
