Technical Project Manager

Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Microsoft Cloud and Network infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of technical solutions that meet client requirements. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and project management to drive success in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, for Microsoft Cloud and network projects.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments to meet client and business requirements.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud and network infrastructure projects.
• Manage project timelines, risks, issues, and deliverables from initiation to closure.

Technical Leadership:

• Oversee projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and other Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Coordinate implementations and upgrades for network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Serve as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between clients, engineers, contractors and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure the integration of cloud services and network solutions to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and address concerns proactivelyTeam Coordination:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical engineers, account managers, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure proper allocation of resources and monitor team performance.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Risk and Resource Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and client requirements.
• Manage internal and external resources effectively, ensuring the right expertise is applied to the project.

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the development of standardized processes and templates for future projects.

Budget and Cost Management:

• Ensure projects are completed within the defined budget.
• Work with finance and procurement teams to track project costs and make adjustments as necessary.
• Report on project financials and ensure proper cost controls are in place.

Pre-Sales Engagement and Support:

• Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to design tailored technical solutions (cloud, network, software, etc.) that meet client needs and business objectives.
• Lead the creation of technical proposals, scope of work, and project plans, aligning the solution with client expectations and the company’s capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical projects, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Proven track record with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365) and network infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and managed services models.

Certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified).
• Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹534,443.90 - ₹2,019,921.90 per year
