Overview
About Us
We build AI-powered automations that help businesses streamline operations, improve productivity, and scale faster. Our solutions span AI agents, workflow automation, customer engagement, and knowledge systems. We are a fast-moving startup focused on solving real business problems using practical AI technologies and modern engineering.
About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives in a client-facing, cross-functional environment. You will own the end-to-end delivery of 3-4 concurrent software projects - bridging the gap between clients and the engineering team. You'll be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks: requirements are clear, teams are unblocked, timelines are met, and clients always know where things stand.
What You'll Do
- Own delivery across 3–4 concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are consistently met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients—gather and clarify requirements, then translate them into actionable tasks for the engineering team.
- Run regular status syncs with the team to track progress, surface blockers, and drive resolution.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies before they impact delivery, and escalate with proposed solutions.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation, including requirements, status reports, and change logs.
- Facilitate clear communication between clients and engineers, ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.
- Send weekly project status updates to clients every Friday without fail.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and QA to ensure smooth handoffs and zero ambiguity on scope.
- Support internal accountability by tracking team deliverables and following up on commitments.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a similar role in a software/IT company.
- Proven track record of managing multiple software projects simultaneously in a client-facing capacity.
- Strong understanding of software development processes—you don't need to code, but you need to understand how products are built.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, direct, and confident in both client conversations and internal team discussions.
- Ability to break down client requirements into clear, structured briefs for the engineering team.
- Sharp problem-solving instincts—when something is blocked, you find a path forward rather than waiting for one.
- High ownership mindset—you treat each project as your own and don't let things slip without accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift, and adaptability is key.
- Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp, Notion, or similar).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/tech product companies is preferred.
Benefits
- In-office culture with a collaborative, high-ownership team.
- Direct exposure to a wide range of industries and product types.
- Fast-growing startup—opportunity to shape how delivery works at Abstrabit.
- Full-time opportunity with performance-linked growth.
