Report to: CEO / Head of Engineering
What makes this role unique:
You will own end‑to‑end project delivery for our 5 production apps (web, iOS, Android) – managing timelines, sprints, risks, releases, and cross‑team coordination – without any product management responsibilities.
Tech you’ll work with (you don’t need to code, but you must understand the stack):
Frontend: Expo React Native
Backend: Node + MongoDB
DevOps: AWS
Automation: Detox + Playwright
Tools: Zoho
About the Role
Are you passionate about on‑time, on‑scope delivery? Do you love unblocking developers, running sprint ceremonies, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders – without worrying about product discovery or user stories?
Join our dynamic team of 10 developers and take full ownership of:
Project Management – sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, progress tracking
Risk & dependency management – identifying blockers early and resolving them
Release coordination – managing releases across web, iOS, and Android
Stakeholder communication – status updates, timeline changes, go/no‑go decisions
Process improvement – removing inefficiencies, improving velocity, documenting workflows
You will work alongside experienced mentors and have a direct impact on team productivity and delivery predictability.

Requirements
Mandatory (must meet at least ONE of the following):
Past experience as a Project Manager (internships or full‑time, any industry)
OR a certificate in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, etc.)
OR have read the following book https://sl1nk.com/edfokrk (provide proof of completion – a short summary or notes):
Strongly preferred (but NOT mandatory):
Experience with Jira, Linear, Trello, or similar
Basic familiarity with full‑stack development (enough to understand technical discussions – no coding required)
Experience running agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban)
Compensation & Growth Path Starting salary: ₹7,500 per month (fixed)
First-year growth: Based on performance (ownership, bug detection quality, reliability), your salary can increase up to ₹15,000 per month within the first 12 months.
Second-year growth: Exceptional performers who continue to deliver and take on more responsibility can reach up to ₹35,000 per month in their second year.
Availability:
Able to join daily sync‑ups at 10 AM IST
Open to occasional evening calls if needed for release coordination
Can join within 2 weeks

Responsibilities (Pure Project Management)
Run sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Track progress using Jira/Linear – update timelines, identify slippage, communicate risks
Coordinate releases across web, iOS, and Android – manage versioning, rollback plans, and post‑release validation
Remove blockers – escalate when needed, facilitate communication between frontend, backend, DevOps, and QA
Maintain project documentation – decision logs, release notes, meeting summaries
Continuously improve delivery workflows – suggest and implement process changes
Hiring Process
Initial Screen (30 min) – Phone call with CEO to discuss experience and fit
Take‑home Case Study (2–4 hours) – Create a project plan + risk assessment for a sample feature
Live Discussion (1 hour) – Walk through your case study with the engineering team
Final Interview (30 min) – Cultural fit and career goals with CEO

This is a paid, full‑time role with competitive compensation. We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position over time.
After 6–12 months, exceptional Technical Project Managers may be considered for Delivery Manager or Program Manager roles.
