Overview
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Field Service to provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
- Respond to service requests and ensure timely resolution as per SLA guidelines.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Coordinate with backend support teams for issue escalation and resolution.
- Document service reports, logs, and customer feedback after each visit.
- Train end-users on system operations and provide basic technical guidance.
- Maintain tools, inventory, and service documentation for audits and tracking.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in technical support or field service engineering.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and IT hardware.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹190,431.80 - ₹400,000.00 per year
