Technical Support Engineer (L2)

Overview

Job Title : IT Support Engineer

+ Job Description:

• Hands on knowledge and experience working on Windows OS (Client OS and Server OS)
• Hands-on experience in providing L2/L3 level support within IT Infrastructure environments.
• Hands on knowledge and experience on Active Directory, Azure Administration, O365 Administration.
• Hands-on experience in End user computing (EUC) support including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of the OSI model, switching and internet routing technologies
• Basic understanding of network concepts, cloud & virtualization tools.
• Having exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, or Horizon View would be an added advantage.
• Design, create, and optimize Group Policies and global IT policies across multi-domain environments.
• Configure and manage VDI solutions, especially using VMware Horizon.
• Deep knowledge of Remote Desktop Services and Thin Client configurations.
• Clear communicator (both written and verbal).
• Provided technical support for operational administration, Directory Services, servers and TCP/IP networks.
• Proficient and knowledgeable and knows how to properly troubleshoot various problems

+ Education and Experience:

• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors / Masters Degree (any stream)
• 5 Days working routine
• If called on weekends, then it will be a additional payout for those days.

Working Conditions Details:

• Hours of work 8 pm IST to 5 am IST (Night Shift) - Monday to Friday
• Overtime expectations If there’s a ticket which needs your presence then yes, you need to stay back and support the business user.
• Work environment Office is equipped with all the infrastructure needed to carry our your daily tasks.
• Travel requirements Annual Offsite is a fun event for our engineers.
• Excellent Communication Needed

Evaluation and Review:

• It would be depend on the number of tickets you resolve and how you resolve.
• We have incentives based on the number of support hours for clients.
