Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support/Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a passion for technology and problem-solving. As a member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for assisting employees with technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by staff via phone, email, or in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
• Assist with setting up new users, including the creation of user accounts and email setup.
• Ensure that all IT-related equipment and systems are running smoothly.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for networking issues, printers, and other office technology.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or third-party support providers as necessary.
• Document and track all support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
• Assist in the maintenance and updating of the company's IT inventory and assets.
• Ensure all company devices are compliant with security policies and software updates.
• Provide basic training and guidance to staff on IT-related procedures and software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with non-technical users.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
