Telecom Software Tester (f/m/x)

Overview

We are looking for a Software Tester to join the IP Telephony Applications R&D team.

The SBC solution enables telecom operators to secure and control signaling and media traffic in IP networks. It operates as a Containerized Network Function (CNF), deployed at the edge of access networks, supporting IMS services, roaming, interconnect, and SIP trunking.

You will be part of an international R&D team, working in a modern, cloud-native environment that combines telecommunications, networking, Kubernetes-based platforms, and test automation.

Your tasks

• Performing integration, functional, and system testing
• Configuring and reconfiguring laboratory environments
• Analyzing issues, troubleshooting problems, and managing defects
• Creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, strategies, test cases, test scripts)
• Collaborating with multinational R&D and development teams
• Supporting and executing test automation activities using Python and Robot Framework

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on system robustness validation
• Knowledge of IP networking protocols and architecture
• Hands-on experience in Linux environments
• Coding skills (Python preferred)
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of Agile testing practices
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Nice-to-have requirements

• Telecom domain experience, especially IMS
• SIP protocol expertise
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms
• Test automation experience
• Awareness of data governance or security best practices
