Test Engineer - Automation

Job Title: Automation Engineer – Selenium/Java/CucumberExperience: 3+ YearsLocation: Hyderabad (preferred)Job Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with over 3+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality and have hands-on experience building and maintaining robust automation frameworks. Experience with Tosca is a plus and will be considered an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.Create, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and integration test cases.Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and deliver high-quality releases.Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to QA best practices.Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency of automation suites.If applicable, leverage Tosca for automation of specific enterprise applications.Required Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber BDD framework.Experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.Good understanding of testing principles, test life cycle, and defect life cycle.Familiarity with tools like Maven, TestNG, Git, and Jenkins.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Good to Have:Experience with Tricentis Tosca.Exposure to API automation tools like Postman or RestAssured.Knowledge on Healthcare domainKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines.
