Test Engineer - II - TOSCA Automation

Booking Holdings is currently undergoing a Finance Transformation initiative that will drive effective finance/accounting support for business management; promote strong governance and control in the organization; and have a world-class finance organization in terms of execution and efficiency. We are hiring a Financial System Business Manager within the Global Business Services organization to support this transformation. This role, reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Financial Systems, will be key in working directly with stakeholders to define what is needed from various systems (i.e., SAP S4, Legacy) to support the Finance organization. Individuals should have a techno-functional and business background that enables them to work with multiple technology and business teams to demonstrate ability to think broadly and strategically about the overall program. This role will interface heavily with our global entities and corporate personnel at various levels across the organization, as well as the internal and external auditors.

Role Overview

Enterprise Platform and Tech services that focuses on delivering high-quality and efficient testing services for various IT projects and systems. The unit follows the best practices and standards of software testing, including test automation, performance testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing. The unit works closely with the business stakeholders and the IT project teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the IT solutions delivered by BHCoE. We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with specialized expertise in TOSCA and any open source tool to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and executing Automation tests suits using TOSCA to ensure the quality, scalability, reliability, and stability of our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify Critical business processes, frequently used in production etc. Based on that, identify ideal candidates for automation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Handle test automation activities, create, design and execute automated test flows and defect management.

• Collaborate with Functional expert teams to understand the testing requirements and design test cases

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools and technologies

• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues

• Work closely with QA analyst to prioritize testing efforts and ensure comprehensive coverage

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the testing team

• Continuously evaluate and improve automated testing processes and methodologies

• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing processes , issues and recommendations

• Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc.) to ensure the highest level of software quality.

• Drive the implementation of best practices into the automation to make it highly stable, discovers defects, requires low maintenance and runs swiftly and selectively.

• Manage and participate in hands-on testing and test automation to identify, document, and resolve system defects.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to continually improve the QA function.

• Effectively communicate with project leaders and Engineering management regarding the scope and limits of testing and analysis efforts

What you’ll bring:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred

• Must have 5+ yrs. of experience in TOSCA Automation

• Must have 2+ years experience in any open source tools ( Senilum, Robot Framework,cypress etc)

• Must have knowledge on JAVA or Python or any programming knowledge.

• Must have Hands-on experience in TOSCA API, DI (Data Integrity), Tosca Query Language(TQL) and Web services testing

• Strong Understanding of Automating SAP/S4 HANA FIori App and FICO related transactions. Also hands on experience on other web application integration. Experience in Tosca Query Language(TQL) and Web services testing

• Must have deep knowledge of Open source automation tools ( Selenium, Cypress or RObot framework).

• Integrate automation suite into CI/CD pipelines and experience with github

• DEX Setup and Configuration: Oversee the configuration and execution of scripts from the DEX machine, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Proficiency in DEX and TDM (TDS)

• Self-motivated, self-driven, own and consider him/herself accountable for timely completion of QA deliverables

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with good interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to details.

• Experience in the financial domain and knowledge of financial securities, and trading principles is highly desirable.
