Key Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Vehicle Validation team at River
- Responsible for subjective and objective evaluation of Vehicle performance
- Planning for performance tests as per requirement and coordination with agencies / test facilities for any off-site testing
- Preparation of the vehicle with any instrumentation required [with support from technician], and setup and calibration of the devices
- Riding the vehicles as per the test requirements and supporting for the analysis of the test data
- Regular performance evaluation of the on-road endurance vehicles, andf production vehicles at Factory to ensure Conformity of Production (COP) with design specifications
- Execute on-road performance testing under various conditions (urban, highway, off-road)
- Collect and analyze data on ride quality, stability, braking, and acceleration
- Planning and execution of all the dynamic Pre-homologation testing (Acceleration, Braking, Speedometer Calibration, etc)
- Riding the vehicle, if required, during the Vehicle Homologation at GARC / iCAT / other test site
- Data correlation of performance with Chassis Dyno and ORE ride data
- 2~5 years of experience in Automotive Testing, preferably in Performance Testing
- Any experience in Motorsports [On-track or Off-road] will be beneficial, but note that riding the vehicle will only account for 10~15% of the responsibilities
- Someone who can push a vehicle to its limits while maintaining control, but also capable of Precision riding and able to ride in the same manner repeatedly
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition tools and interpreting test data
- Good coordination and communication skills
