The opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing quality team. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements and specifications.
- Perform end-to-end functional testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, log detailed defects, and follow up on resolution.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts—primarily using Playwright or similar frameworks (knowledge of C# is a plus).
- Perform API testing and SQL validations to ensure back-end data integrity.
- Participate in requirement analysis, planning, standups, and retrospectives as part of a Functional Delivery team.
- Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Support regression testing cycles and release readiness activities.
Skillset Expectations:
Must-Have:
- 2–5 years of professional experience in manual/functional testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger) and experience in validating database changes using SQL.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and tools like Azure DevOps / JIRA.
Nice-to-Have / Plus:
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of automation tools, preferably Playwright.
- Exposure to scripting or automation using C# or similar programming languages.
- ISTQB or any relevant testing certifications.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into automated deployments.
