We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 01 year of experience to join our QA team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing principles and a willingness to learn automation tools like Selenium. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze software requirements and specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Log, track, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Perform functional, regression, and UI testing across platforms and devices.
- Document test results, create bug reports, and provide feedback to improve software quality.
- Assist in writing and executing basic automated test scripts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts (STLC, SDLC, Test Case Design).
- Basic understanding of Selenium WebDriver and test automation (preferred).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
- Knowledge of SQL and basic database testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
