Position: Test Engineer (CN58I RM 3130)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated test scripts and ensuring seamless integration with our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality and efficiency of our software development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automated test scripts for new and existing features.

Ensure seamless integration of automated tests with CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

Develop and implement test frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues promptly.

Monitor and report on test execution and coverage metrics to ensure quality standards are met.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and overall code quality.

Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers in best practices for test automation and CI/CD integration.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications:

Min 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.

Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.

Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD).
