Test Engineer Website/Apps

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, UI/UX, and regression testing for websites.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve bugs.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (if applicable).
• Document test cases, test results, and bug reports.
• Ensure websites are responsive and meet accessibility standards.
• Perform performance, load, and security testing using available tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to release planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in website or web application testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, BrowserStack).
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, react, node & mysql and responsive design principles.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and accessibility (WCAG standards).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
