Job Summary
Job Title: Automation Lead or Test Lead Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in test metrics, test planning, governance, and exposure to the life insurance industry. - Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
- Test Metrics: Define, collect, and analyze test metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process.
- Governance: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices and provide governance over the testing process.
- Release Management: Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring that all quality standards are met before deployment.
- Defect Management: Oversee the defect management process, including defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.
- Agile Methodologies: Work within agile teams to integrate testing activities into the development process.
- Jira Management: Utilize Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Testing Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of test cases, test scripts, and test results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to ensure it is accurate, relevant, and secure.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and product owners to conduct walkthroughs and ensure alignment on testing requirements and outcomes. Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in software testing, with a focus on test metrics, test planning, and governance.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the life insurance industry is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira, defect management tools, and agile methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and mentoring testing teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
