Job Title: Test Manager
Required Skills
Experience: Minimum 8-14 years in software testing, including 3+ years in a Test Manager or Test Lead role
Functional & Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in software testing methodologies
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Test strategy definition and governance
- Defect management and quality metrics
- Test automation tools and CI/CD concepts
- SQL , PLSQL and data validation for testing
Domain Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Cards domain
- Card Issuing, Merchant Acquiring, Switching(Transaction routing), ISO 8583, EMV, ATM testing, Pos system testing, Clearing and settlements, Transaction Authorization
- Experience in simulators
Job Objective
The Test Manager is responsible for defining, governing, and executing the overall testing strategy for Comapny. The role ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of delivered solutions by managing testing activities across projects, coordinating test teams, and enforcing testing standards, best practices, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Strategy & Governance
- Define, implement, and maintain the global testing strategy (functional, non-functional, performance, security, regression).
- Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects.
- Ensure alignment between testing strategy, delivery roadmap, and project constraints.
- Validate test scope, entry/exit criteria, and acceptance conditions.
2. Test Planning & Management
- Build and maintain test plans, test schedules, and workload estimations.
- Allocate testing resources and manage test capacity across projects.
- Coordinate test activities across multiple teams and environments.
- Ensure proper test coverage based on functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Test Execution & Quality Assurance
- Supervise test execution phases (SIT, UAT, non-regression).
- Ensure proper defect management lifecycle (identification, prioritization, tracking, closure).
- Validate test results and quality metrics before key delivery milestones and go-live.
- Act as the quality gate for releases.
4. Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Define and drive the test automation strategy and roadmap.
- Ensure effective use of automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and test environments.
- Monitor automation coverage and efficiency.
- Continuously improve testing processes based on retrospectives and lessons learned.
5. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality indicators.
- Communicate test status to delivery management, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Escalate risks impacting quality, timelines, or scope.
- Participate in project governance and steering committees when required.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop test engineers and test leads.
- Ensure skill development, performance follow-up, and knowledge sharing.
- Promote a quality-driven culture within delivery teams.

Profile Requirements
- Education: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
