Overview
InnoWave is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented UFT Automation Tester with strong expertise in VBScript and a solid understanding of quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts using UFT for testing web, desktop, and enterprise applications. You will play a key role in enhancing test efficiency and supporting our CI/CD efforts.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) to ensure the quality of web, desktop, and enterprise applications.
- Design and implement reusable test automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on various applications.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
- Integrate UFT automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and testers to define test automation strategies.
- Optimize test execution time and enhance automation coverage.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in UFT and strong scripting abilities in VBScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with API testing using UFT or other tools.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing using UFT.
