Role Overview
We’re seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to audit and overhaul our existing screens, establish a cohesive design system, and deliver end‑to‑end high‑fidelity mockups for all remaining user flows—both mobile and web. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and our AI/ML team to ensure every interaction feels polished, intuitive, and on‑brand.

Key Responsibilities

· Audit & Revamp: Review current workout‑generator and recipe‑assistant screens; identify usability gaps and visual inconsistencies.

· Design & Prototype: Craft pixel‑perfect, high‑fidelity mockups in Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD) for:

o Onboarding & user profile setup

o Dashboard & daily summary

o Workout detail, exercise guidance, and progress tracking

o Recipe browsing, macro filters, and shopping‑list flows

o Voice‑interaction overlays and modal states

· Design System: Define and document a comprehensive component library—colors, typography, spacing, icons, and interaction patterns—ensuring scalability and consistency.

· Collaboration: Partner with developers to validate feasibility, hand off developer‑ready specs, and iterate rapidly on feedback.

· Accessibility & Responsiveness: Ensure all designs adhere to WCAG standards, support mobile‑first and responsive layouts, and include thoughtful micro‑interactions.

· Seamless user flows with clear CTAs and minimal friction.

· Thoughtful consideration of edge cases (empty states, error handling, loading flows).

· Delivery of organized Figma files with version history, naming conventions, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

· 4+ years of professional UI/UX design experience—particularly on mobile and responsive web.

· Education Level: Bachelors or Masters in UI/UX Design.

· Expert proficiency in Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD), including prototyping and design‑system features.

· Proven track record of building or scaling component‑based design systems.

· Solid understanding of mobile‑first design, responsive layouts, and accessibility best practices.

· Excellent visual design skills: color theory, typography, spacing, and iconography.

· Strong communication and remote‑collaboration skills; able to articulate design rationale and incorporate feedback quickly.

· Portfolio showcasing user‑centered interfaces, well‑structured flows, and polished visual design.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have)

· Prior experience in health‑tech, fitness, or food‑tech applications.

· Familiarity with motion design or micro‑interaction tools (Principle, Lottie).

· Exposure to AR/VR or voice‑UI design.

· Basic understanding of front‑end implementation (React Native / React) to inform hand‑offs.
