Overview
About You
Deployment and Management :
- 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure services, deployments, and support.
- Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, and App Services.
- Proficiency with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates for automation and deployment.
- Experience with monitoring and optimizing Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and security best practices in Azure.
- Experience with Azure Backup, disaster recovery, and ensuring high availability for critical workloads.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills, particularly for cloud services and infrastructure.
- Understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, and Load Balancers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Deployment and Management :
- Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Azure App Services, Networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs), PaaS DBs & other PaaS services,
- Implement automation for Azure deployments using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell.
- Perform Azure service provisioning and decommissioning, including scaling and migration of services across environments.
- Provide support for Azure services, handling incidents, and resolving issues related to service performance, connectivity, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the Internal support team to address escalated issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices, including managing Azure Security Center, role-based access controls (RBAC), and Azure Policies.
- Assist with security patching and updates for Azure resources to ensure a secure environment.
- Set up and manage Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Implement monitoring solutions and ensure high availability of services by responding to alerts and managing system health checks.
- Work closely with the DevOps and Cloud Architecture teams to implement infrastructure changes and improvements.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and procedures related to Azure services
