A Fresher DevOps Engineer supports the automation and optimisation of software development and deployment, assists with system monitoring, and helps troubleshoot issues, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning.

A Fresher DevOps Engineer supports the automation and optimisation of software development and deployment, assists with system monitoring, and helps troubleshoot issues, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GiLab CI).
- Support operating and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Help automate deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Collaborate with senior developers, IT, and QA teams to streamline software delivery.
- Document process steps and contribute to operational knowledge base.
- Apply basic troubleshooting to resolve minor technical and configuration issues.
- Assist with infrastructure as code, learning tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Take part in incident management and basic system maintenance when needed.
- Follow security best practices in all assigned tasks.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Foundation in version control (Git), and basic software development concepts.
- Eagerness to learn containerisation (Docker), cloud basics, and automation tools.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
