UX Developer

Overview

A UX Developer User Experience Developer bridges the gap between design and development by translating user experience concepts interaction flows and visual designs into functional high quality front end code This role combines strong UX principles with hands on UI engineering to create intuitive accessible and engaging digital products

Key Responsibilities

UX Interaction Implementation

Translate UX wireframes prototypes and design guidelines into responsive production ready UI components

Implement interactions animations and micro interactions that enhance usability and user satisfaction

Ensure design fidelity and maintain consistent visual and interaction patterns

Front End Development

Develop clean scalable and maintainable front end code using HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frameworks React Angular Vue etc

Optimize UI for performance accessibility and cross platform compatibility

User Experience Collaboration

Collaborate with UX researchers designers and product managers to refine user flows and improve user journeys

Provide technical feedback on design feasibility and propose UX improvements

Conduct usability reviews and support user testing activities

Design Systems Component Libraries

Build and maintain reusable UI components and contribute to design system evolution

Ensure design system guidelines are followed across features and teams

Document components patterns and development standards

Accessibility Usability

Implement WCAG ADA accessibility standards and ensure inclusive design practices

Conduct accessibility audits and resolve related issues

Advocate for user centered design and usability best practices

Quality Assurance Continuous Improvement

Troubleshoot UI issues debug front end bugs and ensure consistent behavior across devices

Stay updated with emerging UX trends front end technologies and best practices

Participate in design and code reviews

Required Skills Qualifications

2 5 years of experience as a UX Developer Front End Developer or similar hybrid role

Strong proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and at least one modern framework React Angular Vue

Experience with UX tools Figma Sketch Adobe XD Axure

Understanding of responsive design interaction design principles and UX best practices

Familiarity with accessibility standards WCAG 2 x ARIA

Experience working with REST APIs and front end build tools Webpack Vite npm etc
