Overview
Role Expectations
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements related to US healthcare claims.
- Develop and optimize backend services for claims intake, adjudication, and processing workflows.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
- Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-impact features.
- Mentor junior developers (for the 9+ years role) and contribute to technical :
- Strong programming experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of US Healthcare domain, specifically in Claims processing (EDI 837, 835, adjudication logic, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
- Exposure to message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
