Job Description

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain technology team, helping to deliver high-impact projects that enhance our retail and e-commerce operations. You will be responsible for guiding multiple scrum teams, ensuring effective agile practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure that our FPS solutions meet business needs and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum Events : Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring teams are aligned and focused on delivering high-quality products.
• Guide Agile Practices : Mentor and coach scrum teams on agile methodologies, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Remove Impediments : Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the teams progress, escalating issues when necessary to maintain momentum.
• Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication of project status and timelines.
• Performance Tracking : Monitor team performance using agile metrics and KPIs, such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time, to provide insights and drive improvement.
• Process Improvement : Continuously assess and enhance agile processes and practices within the teams, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimize delivery.
• Risk Management : Proactively identify potential risks and dependencies, working with the team and stakeholders to mitigate them and ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentorship : Act as a mentor for junior scrum masters and other team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably within the Finance Procurement and Sales business domains in retail, or e-commerce domain.
• Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
• Certifications : Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). Advanced certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master or Certified Agile Coach are highly desirable.
• Agile Expertise : Deep understanding of agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), and best practices, with a proven track record of successful agile implementations.
• Supply Chain Knowledge : Strong understanding of Finance, procurement and Sales business domains, particularly within the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Leadership : Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
