Responsibilities

• Solve for scale on massive concurrent live stream views.
• Build best-in-class live streaming video latency and interactivity.
• Create the capability to handle high in-app transaction volumes.
• Enable rapid iteration by constructing a microservices architecture.
  
  

• You've got 5+ years of development experience.
• You're an expert in building complex layouts using JavaScript/Typescript, HTML and CSS, and well-versed with the full web technology stack.
• You've worked with frameworks like React, Redux or Zustand, Webpack or Turbopack, etc.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, performance profiling, and debugging tools.
• Experience with Next.js 14/15 Server Components, and hybrid rendering models.
• Familiarity with image optimisation, CDN caching, and Web Vitals performance metrics.
• Experience working in a product-based company or video streaming technologies, or real-time systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Contributions to open-source or internal tooling (design systems, performance libraries).
