Job Summary:
Exotica IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a talented and motivated WordPress Developer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to join our growing web development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of WordPress core, theme and plugin development, and the ability to deliver responsive, user-friendly websites.
Key Skills Required:
- Advanced experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, custom themes & plugins
- Experience in website performance, SEO, and responsive design
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Create custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for speed
- Troubleshoot issues and debug code as needed
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and content teams to deliver high-quality websites
- Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, and services when required
- Work on client projects, including international web solutions
Requirements
- 6 months – 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with theme customization and plugin development
- Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, etc.
- Familiarity with website optimization techniques (speed, performance, SEO)
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Experience with Git, APIs, and debugging tools is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
