Web Developer Responsibilities

Website Development and Maintenance:

• Design, build, and maintain websites and software applications.
• Utilize scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions..
• Direct or perform website updates.

Testing and Validation:

• Develop and validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

Problem Solving and Support:

• Identify and correct problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

E-commerce and CMS Management:

• Build and maintain Shopify and E-commerce websites.

Web Developer Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Web Development or a related field, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of web development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Experience with CMS platforms.
