Overview
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement WordPress websites from concept to completion.
* Customise and modify WordPress themes to achieve project goals.
* Integrate third-party plugins and tools to enhance website features.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement website requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
* Conduct website testing and optimisation for responsiveness and speed.
* Provide ongoing website maintenance and support as needed.
Stay informed about WordPress updates, security best practices and industry trends.
Required skills and qualifications :
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
* 2+ years of demonstrable experience as a WordPress developer.
* Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes and plugins.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , PHP , Mysql for WordPress development.
* Experience with responsive web design and mobile-friendly website development.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and visually appealing websites.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices for website optimisation.
