About the job:

We are seeking a skilled Website Developer with 1-3 years of experience in building and maintaining high-quality e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will create user-friendly, responsive, and visually engaging websites while ensuring seamless functionality, secure transactions, and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain responsive e-commerce websites on platforms such as WordPress, Magento, or Shopify.
2. Implement and customise features including product catalogues, shopping carts, and secure payment gateways.
3. Convert design mockups/wireframes into clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or Vue.js preferred).
4. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend developers to ensure functional and aesthetic alignment.
5. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
6. Integrate APIs and third-party services (payment, CRM, marketing tools).
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site performance, responsiveness, and security.
8. Manage CMS content, themes, and plugins.
9. Stay updated with evolving web technologies and best practices.
10. Document code, workflows, and architecture for team reference.
