Web Developer, Enterprise CMS (Optimizely Focus)

The Web Developer, Enterprise CMS, will be a core contributor to Epicor's digital presence, responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing web solutions across our enterprise content management platforms. This role requires robust experience with complex CMS environments, strong technical skills, and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams and US-based management to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

The Web Developer, SEO, will be a dedicated member of the Web Production team responsible for the technical implementation of SEO-optimized web pages and features within the Optimizely CMS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the SEO Specialist and UX Designer to identify and implement technical SEO recommendations and CRO experiments.
• Work inside the Episerver/ Optimizely CMS, to produce and implement on-page SEO elements (meta tags, schema markup, structured data) according to SEO best practices and guidelines.
• Build and maintain SEO-friendly website architecture, including URL structures and internal linking.
• Optimize website code and assets (images, scripts) to improve site speed and performance.
• Ensure mobile-friendliness and responsiveness across all web pages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues within the Optimizely CMS.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of demonstrable experience in web development, specifically working with enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS) or Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs).
• Direct experience with Episerver/Optimizely CMS is highly desirable. Experience with other platforms like Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, or Drupal will be considered, demonstrating transferable skills.
• Strong proficiency in front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Prior experience working for a US-based company, demonstrating cultural alignment and familiarity with typical business practices.
• Comfortable and proficient in collaborating with US-based management across different time zones.
• Fluent in English to a business-level, both written and verbal, for seamless communication with global teams.
